Starbucks
Light roasted. For Starbucks, we designed a custom Scraplight inspired by the shape of a coffee bean, a subtle nod to the brand’s essence. Each piece was handcrafted from FSC-certified recycled cardboard, blending sustainability with storytelling.
Installed in various stores worldwide, the lamps create a warm, organic atmosphere that feels instantly familiar. Their layered texture mirrors the roasted tones of coffee, while the design itself celebrates the beauty of small details, where craft meets daily ritual.

Airbnb Headquarters
Light with imagination. At the Airbnb Headquarters, we designed and built a custom Cloud installation made from over 30.000 recycled ping pong balls. Suspended in the central atrium, the cloud captures the playful and creative spirit that defines Airbnb.
Each element was handcrafted to form a dynamic composition that shifts with the light throughout the day, from bright and airy in daylight to softly glowing in the evening. The result is a sculptural centerpiece that invites people to look up, pause, and dream.
A light installation that embodies curiosity, community, and the freedom to explore, the essence of travel, reimagined through design.
Element Hotel
Light made to measure. For the Element Hotel Amsterdam, we created a custom edition of our Graypants Scraplights Frame series, scaling the design to match the building’s impressive architecture. The elongated forms bring a sculptural presence to the lobby, combining craftsmanship with scale.
Each fixture, handcrafted from FSC-certified recycled cardboard, radiates a warm, layered glow that softens the clean, modern interior. In addition, a cluster of Scraplight Drops was installed to add rhythm and movement, connecting different areas of the space through light.
The result is a bespoke lighting composition that feels both refined and natural, perfectly reflecting the hotel’s calm, sustainable atmosphere.
